WELCOME TO HOPE WORLDWIDE SIERRA LEONE

Who We Are: HOPE Worldwide Sierra Leone (HWWSL) is ICOCSL  charitable organization committed to restoring hope for vulnerable people in Sierra Leone. We strive to provide sustainable, high-impact, creditable community-based services to the poor and needy, through volunteerism and effective partnerships and collaborations with Global Hope Worldwide. At the heart of our Mission is Jesus’ example of unconditional love and compassion for the poor – without regard to faith or background. 

HWWSL focus on achieving the following objectives:

• Conduct  benevolent Outreach Programs to the needy and vulnerable communities;  

• Creation of Pilot preschools for early childhood development programs for children from communities;  

• Involve in Disaster Management Response;

• Support and promote Health and Sanitation programs;

• Engage in Agricultural Development and support the general welfare of vulnerable farmers.

MISSION

HWWSL exists to take the lead in humanitarian interventions by helping the poor and needy, and in providing services to vulnerable communities in the areas of disaster management, early childhood development, education, healthcare and economic empowerment programs, through volunteerism and effective partnership and collaboration with the Global Hope Worldwide.

SOURCES OF FUNDING

HWWSL main source of fund for implementation of programs is through monthly contributions and pledge commitments of its membership and through the parent's church (ICOC-SL) benevolent fund.

HWWSL also intends to solicit external funding through partnership and project writing submitted to both national and international charity and development organisations including Global Hope Worldwide and other philanthropy organisations ; and also the involvement of the organisation in fundraising ventures mainly carried out within the municipalities it operates.
